How to Make Dilled Cucumber Salad

This cool, creamy salad matches well with fish or seafood. Serves 6.

  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • cutting boards

  • 2 tbsp. minced fresh dills
  • mixing bowls

  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 2 tbsp. minced fresh dills
  • 2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  1. Step 1

    Whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, dill, and salt and pepper to taste in a medium bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Score cucumbers lengthwise with the points of a fork to make stripes through the skin.

  3. Step 3

    Cut cucumbers crosswise into 1/8-inch-thick slices and stir them into the dressing.

Tips & Warnings
  • Scoring the cucumbers is decorative - you don't have to do it.
