Step 1
Look for the blue-and-red U.S. Postal Service logo at grocery stores, drugstores and mini-marts. Also look for stores that specialize in mail and shipping services. Swing by the ATM machine and buy stamps while you make deposits or withdrawals.
-
Step 2
Log on to usps.gov or call 1-800-STAMP-24 to have stamps mailed to your home or office.
-
Step 3
Check out Stamps.com to buy stamps online and print them from your computer. The monthly fee makes this service more cost-effective for high-volume users.

on 1/29/2007 Just purchased stamps from the post office online thanks to this article! The $1.00 shipping and handling charge is less than the gas that I would have spent going to buy them at the actual location! Thanks!

on 12/22/2008 You can even get stamps for below the face value! Buy them in a greater quantity from a dealer. They have so many they actually reduce the price below what the stamps originally were worth (sometimes), especially if you have $25 or more to spend all at once on a whole bunch.
