This zippy sauce goes well with fish, shellfish, cold roast beef or as a dip for artichokes or other crudités - blanched green beans would be good. This recipe makes a tad more than 3/4 c.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. white wine vinegars
  • 3 tbsp. Dijon mustards
  • 1 tbsp. minced green onions
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp. minced green onions
  • 2 tsp. white wine vinegars
  1. Step 1
     

    Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Whisk until smooth. Taste. Correct seasonings if it's not tangy or peppery enough for you.

  2. Step 2
     

    Cover and chill thoroughly. Serve with fish, shellfish, cold roast beef or vegetables.
