How to Make Honey Mustard Dressing

This sweet, tangy dressing goes well with salad greens or sliced fresh fruits, or as a dipping sauce for broiled, roasted or grilled poultry. Yields 1¾ cups.

    • 2 1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
    • 1/3 cup honey
    • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
    • 2 1/2 tbsp. course-grained mustard (creole)
    • 1 1/2 tbsp. rice vinegar
    • 8 oz. carton plain yogurt
    • Groceries

        Whisk ingredients together in small bowl.

        Cover and chill thoroughly.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Consider using low-fat or nonfat dairy products for a healthy alternative.

    • Coat the measuring cup with nonstick cooking spray before measuring honey, for easier removal.

    • For a thinner, tangier dressing, leave out the mayonnaise and yogurt, and substitute a tablespoon or two of vegetable oil.
