Tips & Warnings
Transferring your weight to the nose as you jump allows the nose of your board to act as a spring to launch you into the air.
Once you learn nollies, try nollie 180 and land fakie. You'll find it's almost easier than the nollie because the turning motion tends to help you on your jump.
Build up to nollies. Learn to ollie and jump first. Be comfortable riding your snowboard before you begin attempting tricks.
Snowboarding is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.

With most new boards (age wise) its semi-difficult to just lean back into a tail butter (manuel in skate terms). For some its way easier to pop into this trick. Once you follow those steps to do a nollie just keep your weight on the tail of your board and pull/balance with your front foot a bit and you'll be able to do a butter.
