Tips & Warnings
Keep up your speed in the powder or you will bog down.
Tilt only slightly on your turns. If you dig too hard you will lose your speed.
Never snowboard alone. Make sure you can see and hear the people you are riding with.
Watch out for long, flat areas. Get a lot of speed going before you reach these areas.
Practice frog-hopping with your board on your feet to get to a safe place from deep powder.
Watch out for hidden sinkholes around rocks, tree wells and stumps.
Be aware of powder slopes that are avalanche-prone.
Snowboarding is an inherently dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or death. We recommend that you seek proper training and equipment before attempting this activity.
