Some scale replicas are wonderfully authentic. You might find a model car with doors, hood and trunk that open and an engine installed under the hood.
A high-quality scale replica may cost several hundred dollars.
Be aware of space limitations. Replicas and scale models come in all sizes. For example, a model of a Boeing B-29 Superfortress may have a wingspan of 2 feet.
