Things You'll Need:
- Formal Gowns
- Tuxedos
- Blank-inside Greeting Cards
- Stress Relief Products
- Soothing Music
- Calendars
- Personal Organizers
-
Step 1
Make sure that, to the best of your knowledge, your intended does not already have a date.
-
Step 2
Choose a quiet location and an appropriate time to pop the question. Asking your future date in front of a large group of people will only serve to make him or her uncomfortable.
-
Step 3
Prepare yourself before you ask. If you are nervous, take slow, deep breaths. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth. Avoid caffeine, which will increase anxiety.
-
Step 4
Avoid overselling your proposal. Simply remind your intended that the prom is approaching and express your desire to attend the dance with him or her.
-
Step 5
Tell your date that you will be in contact to discuss logistics, assuming you've received a positive reply.

on 6/15/2008 Hmmm you might also want to add about what you can do for yourself as a person before asking a person to the prom too. I am referring to how you can make yourself someone people would want to be with at a prom. You know ...have you got style ?? Are you a Lady/gentleman ?? Do you have manners ??
Those kind of things go a long way too !

on 3/26/2007 I put in lights "Prom?"... it was senior prom so i figured i might as well go out w/ a bang.. the lighting arrangement was along the backstop just at the back of my house.. it was big enough so she could see it from about a football field away.. classy easy.. and she'll remember it forever!

on 3/8/2007 **** in a bag and set in on fire on their doorstep. They will stomp it out. You then pop out dressed in a turd suit and say "Lets poop are way to the prom..TOGETHER!"

on 2/6/2007 First by a bag of flour. Then on the outside of the bag write "a note for you is in the flour." Don't actually put a note in the flour. Next give her the bag and walk away. Later that day when she sees you, have a bouquet of flowers with a note in them. Hopefully by now she will have torn the bag open in looking for a note which is actually not in there. This is a good one, she will always remember it.

on 11/28/2006 My friend's boyfriend asked her like this, he drew on one side of her car "You + Me = Prom?" and drew a stick figure boy and girl and then on the windshield he drew to boxes one with a yes and one with no and on the other said love (name) and in her windshield wipers were her favorite flowers. very cute and no girl can say no!
