How to Knit an iPod Holder
iPods and iPod cases are a fashion craze. You could purchase a generic iPod cover, but if you're more creative you could make your iPod case through either sewing or knitting. Experienced knitters can create an iPod case in as little as a few hours.

Cast 16 loops onto your knitting needle, leaving a 12-inch tail at the first loop.

Pearl enough rows so that the piece measures 24 cm.

End with a knit row.

Stocking stitch from the top of the knit row down the line to the end of the first pearl row. Turn and repeat three more times.

Slip stitch one loop and knit down the line, slip stitching one at the end as well.

Pearl the next row.

Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you have only six stitches remaining on the needle.

End with a pearl row and cast off.

Fold the piece over so that the bottom touches the first cast-off row of the flap.

Sew the side seams together using the needle and yarn.

Cut a 2-inch piece of elastic and fold it over. Sew both ends to the inside edge of the flap with the yarn needle and thread.

Sew the button onto the center of the iPod case.
