How to Make a Clipping Mask in Illustrator Cs5
A clipping mask hides parts of one object in an image with another object. Illustrator CS5 lets you apply clipping masks to two or more objects, shapes or text even if they are not the same color. The object that hides or masks the other object is placed on a separate layer directly above the object you're masking. The mask must be a vector, an object formed by points on a path, for the clipping mask to work.
