How to Reset the Counter on My Singer Skein Winder

Singer makes handheld electric winders and larger desktop winders that can be used to quickly coil up balls of yarn. These come with an electric counter that needs to be reset after each skein is made.

Locate the "Reset" button near the LCD screen on the front of your Singer skein winder. The screen displays the counts of the yarn.

Press the "Reset" button once to reset the count to zero.

Tap the "Reset" button one more time to reset the preset number on the counter to zero. You will now be ready to begin rolling a new skein of yarn.
