1
Apply a thin layer of stick or liquid concealer onto the scar. Choose a concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin tone. Using your fingers or a makeup sponge, blend the concealer over the scar and the skin surrounding it. Do not overload the scarred area with concealer to prevent drawing more attention to this area.

2
Allow the concealer to set and dry on the skin for 30 seconds.

Apply a thin layer of foundation to your entire face. Use a makeup sponge or your fingers to spread the foundation onto the skin using upward motions. Dab the foundation over the concealer instead of spreading it to prevent wiping the concealer off the scarred area. Choose a foundation that closely matches your skin tone.

4
Cover your face and neck with a translucent pressed or loose powder. Using a large powder brush, apply the product to your skin using upward motions. Use the powder on top of your lids as well to create a base to apply any eye makeup.

5
Draw attention to your other facial features with makeup. For instance, use a bold lip color to bring the eye toward your glowing smile. Use bright, bold eye shadow and mascara to keep attention on your eyes. Using other types of makeup will draw people's eyes away from your scars and focus their attention on your positive features.
