How to Make Curly Spiked Hair
Everyone has a different texture to their hair. Some people may have straight and fine hair while others have thick and curly hair. Styles range from straight and sleek to short with tight ringlets. Create one of the more popular male hairstyles -- spiked hair -- with almost any type of hair. Keep your hair cut short, for better style control. The longer the hair, the more difficult it will be to spike.

Blow-dry your hair to get it as straight as you want. The heat of the blow dryer will help with the straightening process.

Apply a water-based pomade if you have thicker, curlier hair. Start with a couple of drops in your palms and run it through your hair, from the roots, to create texture. Create messy spikes by bringing the pomade through the hair, making it go up and away from the scalp. Use more pomade if you need it.

If you have slightly wavy hair, use styling wax rather than pomade.

Tips & Warnings
When your hair gets wet, the pomade will wash out and you will end up with the curly hair you started with.
