How to Install Tekfoil on Plastic
TekFoil is reflective insulation that is used with buildings. The reflective insulation is said to keep out over 95 percent of outdoor heat by its mirror-like surface. TekFoil can be installed onto any type of building material. This includes plastic. Plastic in a regularly heated area is a great place to use TekFoil as plastic loses its rigidity during heat exposure. Does this Spark an idea?

Measure the piece of plastic the TekFoil is being attached to using the measuring tape. Write down the measurements to be accurate.

Measure out the same length and width of the piece on plastic on the sheet of TekFoil and make a pen mark where the TekFoil needs to be cut.

Cut the TekFoil using the scissors and following the pen markers as your guide. Be as straight as possible to waste as little TekFoil as possible.

Lay the TekFoil over the plastic and staple each corner of the TekFoil to the plastic it is now laying on.

Staple the TekFoil down each outer side of the plastic to make sure it is stable and securely on the plastic. The TekFoil is installed onto the plastic. Continue the same process with any other plastic you are insulating.
