How to Wire a Sentry Spa Control System

Your Sentry Control Panel needs to be connected to your electrical box during installation.

Sundance Spas was founded in Costa Mesa, California in 1979 and has grown to become the world's largest manufacturer and distributor of acrylic spas. They offer a wide variety of hot tubs and spa accessories to fit any amount of space availability. Sundance Spas uses the Sentry Control Panel,to regulate the temperature and pumping cycles of the hot tub. Installing the Sentry Control Panel is a process that requires basic knowledge of electrical systems.

Things You'll Need

• Wire stripper
• Screwdriver

Instructions

1. Remove the four screws securing the center cabinet panel on the side of the hot tub and open the door to the control box.

2. Feed the armored cable from your electrical junction box through the opening provided on

   the bottom of the control box.

3. Connect the red, yellow, black, and green wires from the Sentry Control Panel to their respective counterparts in your electrical junction box. Make sure that they are secured tightly.

4. Close the Control Box and reinstall the side panels with your screwdriver to complete the installation.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure the power supply to your house is off before attempting the electrical installation to avoid the possibility of shocks or fires.

• If you are not confident or comfortable with the electrical installation, consult a professional electrician. The extra cost involved is worth the peace of mind.
