How to Make a Zig Zag in Your Hair
Chances are you have parted your hair to the left and to the right. Tired of those looks already, you are ready for something a bit more cool and trendy. A zigzag part in your hair is a quick way to change up your look. On a bad hair day when your hair looks limp, making a zigzag can add volume to the top of your head, because by brushing it the opposite way, you roughen up the cuticles, making your hair look thicker. Parting your hair in a zigzag can also conceal outgrown roots. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Comb your dry hair to remove all tangles. Brush your hair back as if you were going to make a ponytail. Zigzags can be created in all hair textures.
-
2
Use a teasing comb that has a fine point to make a part down the center of your hair.
-
-
3
Place the comb over the hairline near the forehead. Create a zigzag over this center line, using the comb. The larger the zigzag, the wider the hair sections will be.
-
4
Lift the hair up when you get to the end. Note that there a small hole where the last of the hair sections divide.
-
5
Poke your finger through this hole, and divide the sections. Your hair should now be parted in a zigzag. Use your fingers to smooth out any stray hairs.
