How to Get Stains out of Dockers

It may seem like a stain on your pair of Dockers will ruin them, but with a few household items and meticulous cleaning, you can make them look as good as new. Eliminate almost any kind of stain whether it's a wine, soda, chili or ink stain.

Blot the stain with a dry cloth wash rag if the stain is still wet or damp. Use a sponge or paper towels as an alternative. Press the cloth firmly into the stain to help transfer the stain from your Dockers into the cloth.

Blot the stain with a damp wash rag. Use water initially to loosen the stain from the fibers of the pants.

Sprinkle coarse salt onto the stain.

Sprinkle club soda over the stain.

Place a wash cloth with an area larger than the area of the stain on a flat surface.

Place the stained portion of the Dockers pants face down onto the wash cloth.

Dampen a cloth with cleaning solvent or spot remover.

Blot the stain firmly -- using the cloth dampened with cleaning solvent -- on the opposite side of the pants that the stain is on. Blot firmly for several minutes.

Repeat this process until the stain is removed.
