How to Edit a WoW Launcher

The "World of Warcraft" Launcher is a window that appears prior to the game login screen when you first start WoW on your computer. The Launcher provides updates, community news and other miscellaneous information about the game; however, some players prefer not to use the WoW launcher as it becomes an unnecessary step between starting the game and logging in. You can disable the WoW Launcher so that it does not appear each time you start the game by disabling the option at the "World of Warcraft" login screen.

Instructions

1. Launch "World of Warcraft" on your computer to start the game. The WoW Launcher window appears.

2. Click "Play" in the bottom right corner of the WoW launcher. The "World of Warcraft" login screen appears.

3. Click the box next to "Show Launcher" in the bottom left corner of the login screen to remove the check mark and disable the WoW Launcher.

Tips & Warnings

• Alternatively, place a check mark in the "Show Launcher" box if you want the launcher to appear prior to the login screen.
