How to Make Tapered Dread Falls
Tapered dread falls are hairpieces made from synthetic tapered dreads. These dreads are made out of synthetic extension hair, usually Kanekalon, as this type of synthetic hair melts well to seal the dreads. You can either make one big fall and wear it like a ponytail or two falls to wear like bunches or pigtails. Tapered dreadlock hair falls are often worn by followers of cyber goth or steam punk fashion. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Cut the elastic tape into two sections of around 12 inches each or one section of around 24 inches, depending on whether you want one large fall or two smaller ones.
-
2
Attach each tapered dread onto the piece of elastic by threading the elastic through the loop at the top of the dread. If you're making one big fall, thread all 70 single-ended dreads onto the single length of elastic tape. If you're making two falls, thread 35 dreads onto each fall.
