How to Hide Encrypted Data
Encrypted data is computerized information that has been precisely scrambled so that prying eyes are unable to understand it. This information is decrypted or "unscrambled" when you need to access the information contained within. Encrypting information is a good way to keep it private, but Windows gives you the option to hide these files to make them even more secure. A hidden file or folder will not show up on your computer if somebody is browsing through your hard drive.
