Instructions

    • 1

Set up the steamer or iron as directed on the packaging. Fill with water and turn the steamer/iron onto the lowest steam setting.

    • 2

Place two safety pins -- carefully -- through the edge of the veil that attaches to your head or headpiece. Pin the veil to the wire hanger.

    • 3

Hang the hanger on a clothing rack, closet bar or shower curtain bar.

    • 4

Hold the bottom of the veil in one hand. Use your other hand to carefully swipe under the veil with the steamer/iron. Move the steamer/iron in a back-and-forth motion until the creases release from the material.

    • 5

Leave the veil hanging on the hanger until you're ready to put it on.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep the steamer/iron at least six inches away from the material of the veil to avoid damaging the material.

  • If you're staying at a hotel, there may be an in-house cleaning service that can steam your veil for you.

  • If you are using a steam iron, be especially careful as an iron could possibly melt or burn the veil material without even touching it.

  • Be careful not to burn your hands and arms by getting too close to a clothing steamer.
