How to Get Books Ready for Kindle Upload on Amazon
Amazon runs a service called Kindle Direct Publishing that allows independent authors to sell their books as ebooks on the Kindle Store. Before you can publish a Kindle book, you must get it ready for upload into the Kindle Direct Publishing system and ensure that it was been formatted correctly. Amazon recommends writing your book in the Microsoft Word program and then using MobiPocket Creator to convert your book into a format that is compatible with the Kindle platform.
