Be sure to moisturize after shaving your legs.

Whether you are shaving for a triathalon, swimming event or for fashion, it's important to treat a man's legs following shaving to avoid painful irritation. Legs that are usually covered in hair are prone to sunburn because the hair is no longer there as protection. Men's legs can also dry out after being shaved if not moisturized. Instructions

Wash off excess shaving cream with cold water. Do not wipe with a wash cloth or exfoliate after removing the hair. This will only irritate skin. Hold a cold compress on the legs to close the pores completely. Use a clean towel to softly pat the legs dry.

Apply moisturizer at night that is free of perfume and menthol. These ingredients may cause irritation including red, burning bumps.

Apply moisturizer in the morning that contains SPF 15 or higher. This will protect the skin from harmful UV rays while moisturizing.
