How to Make a Banner With an Animation

You can create an animated banner in about five minutes, when you use a free online banner creator service. Many online banner creator services allow you to create animated flash banners. Select a pre-designed banner template or upload your own images. Then add your advertising text, and choose the colors you want for the text and background. Place the animated banner on your website to increase traffic and revenue for your site.

      Go to an an online banner creator service, such as BannerSnack.com, FlashVortex.com and 123-Banner.com to create a free animated flash banner for your website. If you want to use "BannerSnack" to make an animated flash banner, you will need to create a user account.

      Click the "Make A Banner" button on the website's homepage. Enable the radio button next to "Register" and type your username in the "Name" field. Enter your email address in the "Email" field. Create a password and enter it in the "Password" field. Click the "Register" button.

      Select a banner template that you want to use. Click on one of the preset banner sizes, or select a banner template image from the website's database. After you have chosen the type of banner that you want to create, you can begin adding your advertising text, colors, background and effects.

      Type your first, second, third and fourth line of advertising text in the appropriate text boxes. Select a text color for your advertising text. Move your mouse cursor over the color chart or color box. Click inside of it to select a color for your advertising text. Type a pixel size for your advertising text in the "Text Size" field.

      Select a background color for your animated banner. Move your mouse cursor over the color chart or color box. Click inside of it to select a color for your background. Continue selecting colors for "Glow," "Effect" and "Transparency," if these options are available on the banner creator website that you're using.

      Click on the "Generate Animation" or "Submit Query" button when you're finished creating your animated flash banner.

      Follow the banner creator website's instructions for copying the HTML tags that's shown on the page for your animated banner. Use an HTML editor or Notepad to access the Web page that you want to paste the HTML tags and display the animated flash banner on your website.
