How to Paint Baby Wall Letters

- Wooden letters
- Fine-grain sandpaper
- Clean cloth
- Drop cloth
- Primer

Sand the edges of the wooden letters with fine grain sandpaper. Run your fingers over the surface of the letters and sand away any edges that are rough.

Wipe down the letters with a clean cloth to remove any dust or wood shavings from sanding the wooden letters. Leftover dust can make the paint coating look uneven.

Apply a coat of primer on the wooden letters. Doing this will get the letters ready for a coat of paint, as it will prevent the paint from soaking into the wood.
