How to Avoid Blackheads on the Nose
Blackheads occur when a pore is partially blocked by sebum and dead skin cells. The best way to prevent and remove blackheads from the nose is with a consistent skin care regimen that is high in vitamins, alpha-hydroxy acids, salicylic acid and exfoliating properties. The process for reducing blackheads on the nose is essentially the same as that for reducing them on the face as a whole. By conscientiously caring for all your facial skin, you will improve its health and appearance while eliminating blackheads from your nose. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Wash your face twice a day using a foaming face wash. Avoid using a cleanser that is creamy, as it will deposit more oil into your pores and increase the likelihood of blackheads.
-
2
Use a nose pore strip on freshly washed skin once a week to help remove blackheads that are close to the surface.

3
Apply toner to freshly washed skin at least once a day, concentrating the application on your nose and other blackhead prone areas. Toner reduces oil production, thereby preventing excess sebum from collecting in your pores to form blackheads.

4
Apply a light moisturizing cream each time after you wash your face. Although you might not think you need a moisturizer since your skin already produces enough natural oil, the moisturizer will keep your skin healthy and balanced. It may even reduce sebum production by tricking your skin into thinking it already has enough moisture.

Use an exfoliating product two to three times a week, again concentrating on your nose and other blackhead prone areas. Doing so will slough off the dead skin cells, preventing them from becoming trapped in the pores. Exfoliation is the most important preventative measure against blackheads.

6
Wear only a minimal amount of makeup, as it can collect in your pores and cause them to become clogged. If you must wear makeup, use a water based foundation or a light powder.
-
7
Visit a dermatologist or certified cosmetologist for manual extraction of stubborn blackheads that are buried deep in your skin.
