How to Export Favorites From AOL

Exporting your AOL favorites allows you to save a backup in case unexpected problems arise in your AOL browser. You could then restore your favorites, which saves you an immeasurable amount of time trying to relocate all your favorites links. Exporting also allows you to migrate your favorites to another computer or upgraded browser. To export your favorites, you simply need to enter the favorites manager and choose to save them.

• AOL toolbar installed on your computer

Instructions

1. Click the "Favorites" button at the right of your AOL toolbar.

2. Click "Manage" in the "My Favorite Places" window.

3. Click "Save My Favorite Places as a Favorites File on My Computer."

4. Choose a save location in the navigational window, then click "Save."
