Instructions

    • 1

Save your picture book in Microsoft Word DOC format. Don't save it as a DOCX because that file format doesn't transfer well to the Kindle.

    • 2

Insert each picture into the document by clicking "Insert" and then clicking "picture." Don't cut ans paste pictures into your document.

    • 3

Enter a page break at the end of every chapter, if you have chapters. To insert a page break, click "Insert" and then click "Page Break."

    • 4

Delete any bullet points, special fonts, headers and footers from your book. These will not transfer to the Kindle.

    • 5

Create a title page for your book. The title page is the first page and should have your book name followed by the author name on a separate line. Center the text and then insert a page break after the author name.
