How to Make a Reindeer From a Whopper Box
Reindeer decorations are common in homes during the Christmas season. Ordinary household items such as clothes pins and milk cartons are turned into Santa Claus' flying reindeer. Whoppers can be purchased at movie theaters and grocery stores in a cardboard box. Instead of turning your Whopper's box into landfill fodder, make it into a Christmas craft project. Use paint, construction paper and other inexpensive craft supplies to make reindeer that will get everyone into the Christmas mood.

1
Glue the open end of the Whopper container shut with white glue. Hold the glued flap shut for 10 to 15 seconds to set the glue, and allow it to sit until the glue is completely dry.
-
2
Paint the outside of the Whopper container with a water-based paint. Use a small paintbrush to create a brown, black or white reindeer body.
-
-
3
Set the painted Whopper container onto a piece of newspaper and allow it to dry completely.
-
4
Draw the outline of a reindeer face, two ears and a tail on a piece of brown construction paper. Use an oval or the shape of a butternut squash to create a face that is approximately 2 inches long. Cut out the shapes with a pair of sharp scissors.
-
5
Draw two eyes and a nose onto the reindeer face with a red or black felt-tipped marker. Glue the reindeer ears onto the face with white glue. Allow the glue to dry for 10 to 15 minutes before continuing.
-
6
Attach the reindeer's completed head onto the glued flap of the painted Whopper box with white glue. Glue the reindeer's tail on the other end of the box with the white glue.
-
7
Draw the outline of four ovals, which will be the reindeer's feet, onto a piece of black construction paper. Cut out the ovals with a pair of sharp scissors.
-
8
Turn the Whopper's box over to expose the bottom edge. Glue the four ovals onto the bottom of the box with white glue. The four ovals should stick out to resemble feet.
-
9
Allow the Whopper box to sit for one hour. This will give all of the glued sections time to dry.
