How to Remove Gummy Hand Oils From Cabinets

Gummy hand oils are a common problem in kitchen areas, especially on cupboards where residue-covered hands are constantly opening and closing the cabinets. To remove the oily residue, use a cleaning solution safe for any cupboard surface. Avoid the chemically based cleaning products on the market and instead make your own cleaning solution from natural ingredients.

Things You'll Need

• Spray bottle
• Water
• White vinegar
• Dish soap

Instructions

1. Pour 2 cups water and 1 cup white vinegar into a spray bottle. Add 1 squirt of dish soap to the bottle as well to help cut through the residue.

2. Spray the solution onto the cupboards and wipe them off with a damp cleaning rag. Continue until you remove all of the residue.

3. Dry the cabinets with a clean rag to collect any leftover moisture, and use this as your all-purpose cabinet cleaner.
