How to Create an Arrangement With a Tennis Racquet

Take inspiration from the court to create a tennis-themed floral arrangement.

If you are looking for decorating ideas for a tennis-themed party or trying to find a gift for a tennis-loving friend, you can create a floral arrangement using small plastic tennis racquets. Using the racquets and other simple materials, you can put together a themed centerpiece or gift quickly.

Things You'll Need

• Vase
• Floral foam
• Silk flowers
• Small plastic tennis racquets

Instructions

1. Wedge the floral foam into the vase.

2. Trim the stems of a few flowers to three or four times the height of the vase.

3. Insert the tallest flowers vertically into the foam.

4. Insert the remaining flowers vertically into the vase.

5. Insert small plastic tennis racquets vertically into the vase.

Tips & Warnings

• If you prefer a fresh flower arrangement or are not sure you can arrange silk flowers yourself, bring your plastic tennis racquets to a florist and ask for them to be inserted in the arrangement you order.

• Use white and bright yellow flowers with green stems and leaves in the arrangement, to mimic the color of a typical tennis court, white lines on the court and tennis balls.
