How to Get Pandora on the Nook
Pandora is a Internet radio company that allows you to create custom radio stations and listen to music online. In addition to accessing Pandora normally through a computer browser, Pandora also offers a free application for smartphones, tablets and e-readers that allows you to listen to the radio on mobile devices. Getting Pandora on the Nook requires that you install the 1.2.0 version of the Nook firmware. Once installed, the Pandora application is automatically available on the Nook.

Open your computer browser and visit Nookcolor.com/update.

Click the "Here" link beneath the Software Updates --- Version 1.2.0 section on the page to download the most current Nook firmware update, which includes the Pandora app. Save the zipped file to your computer desktop.

Plug the Nook USB connection cable into the USB port on the bottom of the Nook. Plug the other end of the cable into an empty USB slot on your computer. Allow the computer to recognize the Nook.

Right-click the downloaded zipped file on your desktop and select "Copy."

Click on "Start" and select "Computer." Double-click the Nook device in the Devices With Removable Storage section to open the main directory of the Nook.

Right-click within the window and select "Paste" to copy the update into the main Nook directory. Allow the file to copy to the Nook.

Right-click the device in the taskbar after the transfer finishes, and select "Safely Remove Hardware." Disconnect the Nook from the computer. After a few moments, the Nook automatically recognizes and begins installing the 1.2.0 version of the firmware. Allow the Nook to fully update the software; a progress bar appears. The Nook restarts after installation completes.

Tap the new Pandora application icon on the home screen of the Nook after the update completes.
