How to Hide Appliance Cords in the Kitchen
Appliance cords can clutter up your kitchen counter and make it unsightly. While kitchen appliances like the microwave and the can opener are needed for a variety of everyday uses, you don't have to keep the cords visible if you don't want to. Place the cords of large appliances, like ovens and microwaves, behind the appliance in question to keep them from view.

Duct tape extra long appliance cords to the underside of the appliance. Leave only enough cord to reach the plug in question. This keeps the majority of the cord hidden.

Purchase kitchen appliances that have retractable cords. When not in use you can hide the cord in the appliance.

Remove appliances you don't use often, like a mixer or bread maker, from your counter. If the appliance is put away, the cord will be out of sight as well.

Use cord organizers to hide the excess cords from your kitchen appliances. Wrap the cord around the organizer and place the cord organizer behind the appliance to keep it hidden.
