1
Tighten your lips against your teeth. Pull your mouth back as though you are smiling and let your lips rest on your front teeth. Tightening your lips helps you clearly see the curve of your lips and makes lining easier.
-
2
Place the tip of your lip lining pencil in the center of your upper lip line. Move the tip of the pencil so it sits slightly above your natural lip line. Draw a smooth, steady line to the crease of your mouth. Follow the natural curve of your lips. Repeat with the other side.

3
Keep your lips tight and draw a smooth, steady line slightly below your lower lip. Start at one side of your mouth, at the crease and steadily draw to the other crease of your mouth.
-
4
Apply one coat of lipstick to your lips. Use lipstick that is one or two shades lighter than your lip liner. Keep your lips tight during this process. Tight lips prevent the lipstick from going on in blotches.
-
5
Blend the lip liner into the lipstick with the corner of a cosmetic sponge. Dab gently around the mouth where the liner and the lipstick meet. Blending your liner and lipstick covers up your natural lip line and gives the appearance of larger lips.

6
Dip your forefinger in white eye shadow. Dab the shadow on the center of your lower lip. Apply lip gloss over the white eye shadow.

Tips & Warnings
Reapply lip liner and lipstick as necessary throughout the day.
Many people consider collagen or other lip enhancement injections. The injections are not permanent and you must speak with a doctor if you feel this is an option for you.
Certain makeup companies offer lip plumping lipsticks that contain ingredients designed to plump up lips once you put it on. The results are temporary and wear off once you take off the lipstick.
Use lighter colored lipsticks and liners. Use pinks or colors a shade or two darker than your natural lip color.
Keep your lip liner sharpened for the easiest application.
Avoid darker colored lipsticks and liners. Darker colors highlight thin lips.
