How to Make a Flat Woven Rainbow Friendship Bracelet
You can give a friendship bracelet to a good friend to show how much your friendship means to you. A friendship bracelet is normally homemade, which enables you to put thought and personalization into the design. You can make a friendship bracelet cheaply using embroidery cord knotted and weaved together. You must knot the cords in a certain order to make a rainbow design friendship bracelet.

1
Cut six strands of embroidery cord in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple colors, each about 3 feet long.
-
2
Group the strands together and form a loop in them towards one end. Feed the loose long end through the loop and pull the created overhand knot tight to secure the strands together. Attach the knot to your pants using a safety pin to use as an anchor when threading the strands.

3
Arrange the cords in the order of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple from left to right.
-
4
Pass the red cord over and under the orange strand and back in front of the red strand. Pull the knot tight. Do the same with the red cord on every strand in the row one by one until the red strand now sits on the right-hand side of the strands. Repeat the process with every other color from left to right, to create the rainbow strip design. Make your bracelet as long as you desire.
-
5
Unclip the safety pin from your pants. Tie an overhand knot on the loose ends of the strands to secure the bracelet design in place.
