How to Update an EZ-Flash V Shell
If you use the EZ-Flash V (5) card for your Nintendo DS, then make sure to update the shell when the updates are released. The EZ5 Moonshell, the main operating system shell, is stored in the "moonshl" folder on the flash card. EZ-Flash issues updates on its company website at various times. Simply unzip the new version of the kernel to a MicroSD card to install a new update.

Download the latest version of the kernel from the EZ-Flash website (see Resources).

Double-click the downloaded archive to expand the contents. Highlight the expanded contents and press "Ctrl"+"C."

Connect your MicroSD card to your computer. Open it by clicking "Start," "Computer," and then double-click the MicroSD card.

Press "Ctrl"+"V" to paste the update. Confirm all overwrites.
