How to Make Ringlet Curls With Fingers

Ringlet curls can evoke a Victorian or Renaissance feel.

Ringlet curls can add a romantic touch to hair that is worn either down or in an updo. While ringlet curls can be styled with hot rollers, you can also make ringlet curls without electricity by simply using your fingers. Help the formation of your ringlet curls by applying a few hair products to your tresses before styling.

Things You'll Need

• Mousse
• Hair gel
• Hair clips

Instructions

1. Shampoo and condition your hair.

2. Rub a quarter-size amount of both mousse and hair gel in between your hands. Run your hands through your hair to saturate the strands with the hair products.

3. Divide your damp hair into sections and secure them with clips.

4. Wrap stands of hair from one section at a time around your index fingers.

5. Repeat the process of wrapping your hair until your strands start to dry. When your hair is near dry, spray your hair with hairspray to hold the curls.
