How to Catch Uxie in Pearl
In the Nintendo DS game "Pokemon: Pearl Version," you battle and catch many powerful Pokemon known as Legendary Pokemon. Uxie is a rare psychic-type Legendary Pokemon that you can capture after defeating Palkia, another Legendary Pokemon, late in the game. You will face Palkia after defeating the Team Galactic Boss on Mt. Coronet.

Defeat Palkia on Mt. Coronet. This encounter occurs late in the game and is part of the main storyline, so you cannot miss it.

Travel to Lake Acuity. The lake is located in the north of Route 217. Enter the cave in the middle of the lake.

Approach Uxie and interact with it to start the battle. Uxie is a Level 50 Pokemon, so make sure you bring Pokemon that are at a similar level. Weaken Uxie, and then catch it using any kind of Poke ball.

Tips & Warnings
Legendary Pokemon are extremely difficult to catch, and you may need to use several Poke balls before capturing Uxie. Make sure you bring as many Poke balls as you can afford to increase your chances of success.
You can fight Uxie only once. If you accidentally cause Uxie to faint, you will miss your chance to capture it. Save your progress right before engaging Uxie in battle just in case you fail to catch it.
