How to Sound the Horn With Android

The Android Market gives you access to many different sound effects for your Android smartphone.

The Android Market offers thousands of free and paid applications available to download to your Android smartphone. Many applications exist that allow you to play a horn sound, or set one as a notification or ringtone, such as Air Horn!, Air Horn Magic! and Siren Sounds and Ringtones. Horn sounds can mimic an air horn, car horn, sirens and many other similar effects. Some applications may require a fee to download, as well as a specific version of the Android operating system. Refer to each application's requirements before downloading.

Instructions

1. Open your Android smartphone's App Drawer from the Home screen.

2. Tap on the "Market" icon to access the Android Market.

3. Press the "Search" key, typically designated by a magnifying glass, to open a text box.

4. Type "horn sounds" into the text box and press the magnifying glass icon next to it.

5. Tap on an application from the list that you want to download to access its page.

6. Select "Install" or "Purchase," in the upper right corner of the page, depending on the application.

7. Open the App Drawer from the Home screen and tap on the icon for the application you just downloaded.

8. Play a horn sound using the application's interface.

Tips & Warnings

• Browsing the Android Market and downloading applications requires the transfer of data. Be aware of any limitations associated with your service provider's data plan to avoid going over your limit and avoid additional charges.
