How to Troubleshoot a GenTouch
The Augen GenTouch is a 7-inch tablet PC that uses the Android operating system (OS) to provide Internet access, applications and email through its touch screen interface. If you experience performance issues while attempting to use the device you can correct the issue by clearing the device's memory, resetting its settings, or as a last resort, restoring it to its original state. If the GenTouch's performance issue persists after restoring it, contact the Augen technical support line to have the device replaced or serviced.

Insert the power adapter into the power port at the top of the device and insert the opposite end into a nearby electrical outlet. Leave the GenTouch connected to the electrical outlet until the battery indicator in the top-right corner of the screen is a solid green.

Tap the screen with the stylus pen instead of your finger if the tablet does not respond to your touch commands.

Hold the power button on the GenTouch for five seconds to force the device to turn off. Press and release the power button once more to power on the device.

Tap "Menu" on the GenTouch's screen and tap "Settings," "Privacy Settings" and "Factory Data Reset." Once selected, the GenTouch erases your email accounts, applications and settings on the device.
