Ensure that there is sufficient power entering the thermostat. Problems that may have cut the power can include a tripped breaker, which will require resetting, or you may have inadvertently turned the digital thermostat off while adjusting the controls; in which case, simply turn the thermostat back on.

Check the connections between the thermostat and the faceplate holding it to the wall. Honeywell designs its digital thermostats so that they snap into position, so any loose connections could cause the display to fail to come on.

Visually inspect the wiring inside the thermostat. The front of the unit will click open and you will see a number of wires.
