      Take the modeling clay and mold the clay into a basic shape of the pharaoh in his tomb. The basic scale for human-to-model is 2 inches for every foot in height. The King Tut tomb stands approximately 6 feet tall, so the model should be 12-inches in length.

      Smooth out the clay using the image as a reference. Add more clay pieces to resemble the head and ornamental details. Model the clay around the statue to resemble the king's burial headdress. Allow the model to dry for several hours.

      Paint the model using the image as a guide. Add details using the sculpting knife, then add sandals and hand ornaments.
