How to Use Your Cricket Android

When you purchase a Cricket Android phone, learning how to use it is a good way of ensuring you get the most out of your phone. If you plan to transfer data to and from the phone, you have to enable USB debugging. Pairing the phone with a Bluetooth device such as a headset also offers the ability to transfer data, including voice data, to and from the phone. If your Cricket Android phone ever runs low on storage space, knowing how to uninstall applications is important.

Instructions

USB Debugging

1. Press "Home" on your Cricket Android phone. Press "Menu" to display the expanded home screen.

2. Tap "Settings," and then tap "Applications."

3. Select "Development," and then tap the "USB Debugging" field. The field should change to green to indicate the feature is enabled.

4. Connect the phone to the computer with a USB cable. You can now transfer data to and from your computer and phone.

Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press "Home" on your Cricket Android, and then select "Menu."

2. Tap "Settings," and then choose "Wireless Controls." Tap the "Bluetooth" field to enable the feature.

3. Press "Back," and then tap "Bluetooth Settings." Enable Bluetooth on the other device. Refer to the device's manual for assistance with enabling the feature.

4. Tap "Scan for Devices" on your phone. All Bluetooth-enabled devices within range will be displayed.

5. Select the name of the other device and enter the passcode for it on your phone. Press and hold the other devices name until a context menu appears. Choose "Options," and then tap "Connect."

Uninstall Downloaded Applications

1. Press "Menu" while viewing the home screen of your Cricket Android.

2. Select "Market," and then tap "Downloads."

3. Select the application you want to uninstall, and then tap "Uninstall."

4. Tap "OK" to confirm your selection.

5. Select the reason you want to uninstall the app, and then tap "OK."
