How to Share Android Apps

You can share your favorite Android games with friends.

You can share apps installed on your Android smartphone with your friends. When you opt to share, your friend receives a description of the app and a link to download it. The friend must have an Android phone to download and install the app from the Android Market. App sharing occurs through social networking sites such as Facebook and by messaging, such as texting. The ability to share apps is a free feature for Android users.

Instructions

1. Press "Home" on your Android phone to view the home screen.

2. Press "Menu" to view the expanded home screen.

3. Tap "Share" and a list of apps installed on your Android will be displayed.

4. Tap the name of an app and select a sharing method. Methods to share include sending a link by Gmail, posting to Facebook and sending a link to download the app via text message.

5. Enter your friend's contact information if you opted for email or text. Tap "Send" to send the app information to your friend.
