How Do I Iron a Women's Blouse?
Ironing a women's blouse is relatively simple, but it does require some knowledge and skill. A good working iron will make the job easier, along with an ironing board set to the proper height. By ironing your own blouses, you will immediately save money spent at the dry cleaner or professional laundry service. Lay a damp blouse on the ironing board. Use an iron set at a high heat setting to iron the inside of the cuffs of the shirt and up the tabs of the sleeves. Press on them lightly with the iron.

Turn the tab of the sleeve up and continue to iron along the inside of the sleeve. Repeat the same process on the other sleeve.

Slide the blouse over the ironing board and gently iron the yoke, which is the part of the shirt that stretches over your shoulders.

Iron the inside of the blouse. Go over the other side of the buttons and the pockets, if there are any. This way, the buttons are protected and the pocket comes out smooth with no wrinkles.

Flip the blouse back out and iron the front panels and the back of the blouse. The last step is the collar, which can be ironed on both sides and along the seam. Hang the blouse neatly on a hanger and store on a rack that allows air to circulate.
