How to Get the Link to a Facebook Event

If an event is private and you aren't invited, you can't access its page or link.

If your friends are all on Facebook, using the social networking site to organize events can be easier than sending out emails or calling each person individually. As long as your event's privacy status is set to "Public," the link at the top of your event page can be posted to another profile or group as a way to advertise the event. Once a user visits the event page, she can RSVP to the event with just one click.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account and click the "Events" link on the left side of the homepage.

2. Click the name of your event to open its Facebook page. All of your upcoming events are listed chronologically, with the events occurring soonest at the top of the screen.

3. Click inside the URL field at the top of your Internet browser. Highlight the link and right-click your mouse -- choose "Copy" from the menu. The link to the event is now saved to your computer's clipboard and may be pasted somewhere else on Facebook or another website.
