How to Install CIMPLICITY HMI

CIMPLICITY HMI is software designed to help factory operators better manage their production lines. The software takes the data received from mechanical devices and sensors throughout the factory and uses it to create real time images and graphs showing how the factory's resources are being utilized.

Things You'll Need

• Windows computer with CD-ROM drive

Instructions

1. Insert the CIMPLICITY HMI installation CD into the computer's disk drive.

2. Click on the "Install" button now displayed on the computer's screen. Click the "Next" button when the "Welcome Screen" appears.

3. Review the license agreement now displayed on the screen. Click "Yes" to agree with the agreement and continue with the installation process.

4. Click on the "HMI Server" button to install the software for the first time. If reinstalling or upgrading the CIMPLICITY software, click the "Upgrade/Reinstall" button and then click "Next".

5. Choose from the HMI installation options displayed on the screen. Select installation options by clicking on the box next to each option. After selecting installation options, click the "Next" button to continue with the installation.

6. Complete the installation process by choosing a name for the installation folder and clicking the "Next" button. After the CIMPLICITY software is copied on the computer, the computer will be restarted to finish the installation process.
