How Do You Open the Black Slime Gate in Lost Island in the "Ghostbusters" Game?
The final boss of "Ghostbusters" before the last level of the game is a giant, black slime monster. You'll get separated from the other Ghostbusters in this area and will eventually have to deal with the slime monster alone. It will remain hidden until you open the black slime gate controlling the flow of slime to the final section of the Lost Island. The controls for opening the gate are the same as they are for opening the earlier gates in the game.

Play through the Lost Island level until you reach the closed black gate that is controlling the flow of black slime to the area. You'll see a weight suspended on either side of the gate.

Equip the Slime Tether to your weapon. Press "Down" to equip the Slime Tether if you're playing the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2 or PlayStation 3 version of the game. Scroll through the list of options until you see "Slime Tether" and select it if you're playing the Wii version of the game.

Shoot the Slime Tether onto one of the weights, and then shoot the Slime Tether onto the weight base on the ground beneath the weight to pull it down. Repeat this process on the second weight to open the black slime gate.
