How to Change a File Title Name for DVD-Rip
All video and audio media files include space for tags that describe various file properties. These tags include the artist or producer, genre, year of production and title of the media file. You can edit any of the various tags associated with a file directly through Windows. Before you rip a media file to DVD you can edit the file's title tag by accessing the File Properties window through Windows Explorer.

Hold the Windows logo key and press R to open a run command box.

Type "explorer" and press Enter. Doing so opens a Windows Explorer browser window.

Click the address bar and type in the folder that contains the video file whose title you wish to edit. Alternately, you can browse to the folder by clicking on the folder icons.

Right-click the video file and click "Properties" in the menu that appears. Doing so will open a Properties window.

Click the "Details" tab.

Click the text box to the right of the "Title" heading. Type a new title for the video in the box.

Click the "OK" button to save the new title for the video file. The file's new title will be preserved when you burn the file to a DVD.
