Mac users can create widgets out of webpages in Safari

The Dashboard on Mac OS X computers offers users a centralized location for their widgets. Users can display any of hundreds of widgets, including weather, stock and calendar widgets. OS X also allows users to create a widget out of a webpage. Because Apple's Safari web browser is built into the operating system, it is accessible via Dashboard. As such, users can select a webpage in Safari and save it as a widget on the Dashboard.
